For their third release, Difficult Art and Music tracked down an international roster of some of the finest artists, musicians and writers working in the field of Drone. With an open brief to merely explore the notion of Drone in the broadest possible terms, contributors responded with a wide range of interpretations. From long-form electro-acoustic works to existential treatise, procedural apps to abstract collages, the artists explored themes of political stagnation, minimal composition, site specificity, and more. By no means an easy collection, ‘Everything Lasts Forever And Nothing Ever Dies’ is a complex study in the aesthetics and philosophies of drone in all of guises. Released on numbered cassette with hand-made fabric cases, complete with exclusive digital-only downloads, a full-colour research magazine / art journal, and an audio-embedded art-print, this exclusive set is limited to 25 copies.

This is brooding & menacing. It has a radio waves, broken transmission feel to. The featured machines haven't neccesarily taken over, but they're inescapable. Waiting. Watching. Especially love Fairway. It sounds like the ocean - but this is the waters swirling around Fang Rock, in the middle of the night. There's danger afoot. Beautiful stuff. knightd68
